A remote healing treatment works in a similar way as an in-person healing session. The treatment can last up to an hour but usually is given during shorter 20 minute sessions. At an agreed time the client relaxes in a comfortable position where they won’t be disturbed and practices meditating or becoming still. Often people experience similar sensations during the treatment such as feelings of heat or coolness or tingling. Others report feelings of deep relaxation and peace. After the healing feedback is given by email or phone reporting on the healing session and offering guidance and advice when relevant.
Live food adherents consider food to be raw/living if it has not been heated beyond 118 degrees. Pasteurized products, canned foods, and frozen vegetables have been heated beyond this point, but most frozen fruit have not. The living food diet also emphasizes live sprouts and unpasteurized probiotic foods such as miso and pickled vegetables.
Extras: Foods that are common to the raw food diet, but might be unfamiliar to you, include chia seeds, goji berries, Medjool dates, hemp seeds, and coconut butter.
As long as we keep our bodies acidic and addicted, we will experience the negative effects of a toxic body as the norm, and the drug companies selling us their antacids and poisonous chemicals will be happy, but the important question is, “Will you be happy?”
In summary, many addicted individuals don’t realize that human beings only experience addictions when the body is acidic, and there is a chemical imbalance present. The Hippocrates Institute has seen the demonstration of this truth time and time again. Its program, when followed faithfully, results in alkalizing the body and restoring its chemical balance, and it has been observed as a side benefit, that it frees one from the slavery to cravings and addictions.
However, one must be patient and allow the alkalinizing process enough time to achieve its optimal results. Not being informed about what to expect during this process often interferes with this patience, for the withdrawal symptoms that arise can lead to discouragement. All of the symptoms of detoxification may arise, and the most distressing symptom is craving for the very substance to which one has been addicted. As a result, there is motivation to rationalize, again, choosing the addictive behavior, and this only compounds the discouragement.
If we are prepared for the emotional and mental changes, which accompany alkalizing the body, then we can “weather the storm.” Keep your eyes on the prize, and a new “you” will emerge, free not only from addictive behaviors but, most importantly, free from addictive emotions and addictive mind patterns. Then you will know true power, true self-esteem, and true happiness.
Your immune system’s healthy function is intertwined with your psychological well-being. It’s no coincidence that many people encounter health issues—adverse immunological changes—when they undergo stressful situations such as college exams, divorce, job loss, or the death of a loved one. However, there are things you can do to help safeguard your psychological health and maintain your physical health in the process. #immunesystem#angelsofhealth#wellbeing#biowellbrooklyn @normanbalassiano

Dr. Young’s excellent book, The pH Miracle, clarifies for us the acidic or alkaline effect on the body produced by a large variety of foods. Most vegetables and low-sugar fruits have an alkaline effect on the body. These include: peas, asparagus, artichokes, comfrey, green cabbage, lettuce, onion, cauliflower, white radish, rutabaga, white cabbage, savoy cabbage, kohlrabi, zucchini, red cabbage, rhubarb, horseradish, leeks, watercress, spinach, turnip, lime, chives, carrots, lemon, French cut beans, red beets, sorrel, garlic, celery, tomato, endive, avocado, red radish, cayenne pepper, dandelion, Kamut grass, barley grass, soy sprouts, chia seeds, alfalfa, wheatgrass.
Several kinds of nuts and seeds are alkaline. These include almonds, soy nuts, sesame seeds, etc. Among alkaline producing fats are olive oil, flax seed oil, and coconut. Most grains and legumes (i.e. beans) are slightly acidic, which means they should be eaten in moderation, but are still part of a healthy diet. These include brown rice, wheat, buckwheat groats, millet, lentils, tofu, lima beans, white beans, etc.
Almost all meat products, poultry, fish that isn’t freshwater fish, white breads, peanuts, cashews, pistachios, all cheeses, and milk products, all forms of sugar, all condiments such as vinegar, soy sauce, mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup, as well as most beverages, such as beer, coffee, wine, or fruit juice, are so high in acidity that they can’t be balanced, and should, as a rule, be avoided if one is facing health challenges.
In addition to diet, the quality and quantity of the water we drink is a major component in creating the optimal acid/alkaline balance, since our bodies are almost 70 percent water, and our brains are 90 percent. There is now new technology, as described in Chapter 2, which ensures that our water has the highest alkalinity.
Of course, the foods we eat are only part of the story. The idea that our emotional state, or our choice of activities, could affect one’s pH, making it more or less acidic, was considered quite a controversial theory. This is no longer the case. There is now overwhelming scientific evidence that achieving a state of consciousness commonly associated with a spiritual outlook on life is very beneficial to one’s health. Alkaline forming activities include moderate sunshine, rest/sleep, deep breathing, fasting and under-eating, relaxation, soothing music, laughter, emotional release processes, self-esteem. Not surprisingly, acidic forming activities include lack of rest, overeating, stress, noise, anger, denial, confusion and fear.
Food is the earliest addiction, the basic prejudice, starting with the newborn’s first mouthful. Food is more controversial than sex, politics, religion, or drugs. Many people feel that their lifestyle is questioned and discredited if you refuse, on philosophical grounds, to eat certain foods at their home.
People generally have no instinctual or rational basis for their diet; as a result, they can become very emotional about it. The average person has no idea what natural food is, or how to maintain good health. Doctors know a great deal about disease, but very little about health-promoting nutrition.”
The above quote from Viktoras Kulvinskas claims that we can become very emotional about our food choices. Perhaps the major reason is that we expect the food to compensate for the emptiness we feel inside because of our separation from spirit. We try to distract ourselves from the pain resulting from this separation, which is actually a separation from the experience of love. The pattern is set in infancy when we are taught that candy, cookies, and ice cream mean love. Our craving for love is soon replaced by these symbolic stand-ins.
The addiction stemming originally from a psychological and spiritual need now becomes reinforced by disturbed blood chemistry and inadequate nutrition, as an actual physiological need. Once we have imbalanced blood chemistry and a body that is not getting enough nutrition, we can no longer trust the feedback of our natural instincts.
We developed a one of a kind four phase weight loss protocol utilizing two powerful technologies. We combine Electro-Photonic scanning Imaging resulting in real time feedback of ones energetic state of health, stress, energy and overall balance.
We than use the Bio-Well data in conjunction with the Ondamed technology.
ONDAMED is a biofeedback device that the practitioner uses to determine which frequencies of sound, as well as the accompanying weak pulsed electromagnetic fields, cause a response in a patient's autonomic nervous system providing remarkable treatment results for weight loss, specifically speeding up the metabolism, decrease in cravings for sugar, salt and fat, great for the mind and attitude, release of toxins leading to improved detoxification, enhances the absorption of nutrients into the cells, Increase vitality, produces more positive moods, a clear mental thought process, strong commitment to self-care and stimulates the fat loss process.
Sometimes seeing is really believing. The Bio-Well displays a visual assessment of the body’s energy levels and report of how the body is managing stress. In physics the term, entropy and neg-entropy is often used to describe how organized or coherent a system or organ is behaving. Neg-entropy means there is less or no chaos, entropy means there is disorganization and chaos.
Often times on the healing journey, there is chaos before and during the transitional phases. Adaptivity is a dynamic process and the Bio-Well is helpful in detecting real-time activity to aid in assessing a detox program, before and after treatments and subtle core issues.
A piece of pH paper is often used to diagnose the acid/alkaline balance of the body. The pH of the urine and saliva should be tested, over a period of time, for the most accurate results. A pH reading of 6.5 - 7.5 or thereabouts, is considered normal, and a sign of good cellular alkalinity. To achieve this optimal pH, a diet of 80 percent of foods from alkaline sources, and 20 percent of foods from acidic sources is highly recommended.
Why is osteoporosis promoted by eating acidic foods?
Why is acidity harmful in your body?
Which foods are the most acidic versus most alkaline?
Why does consuming a large amount of dairy do nothing to prevent osteoporosis?
What is the real cause of osteoporosis and how do you reverse the condition through dietary change?
How do we accurately test our pH levels?
How does our overconsumption of meat and grains result in an overly acidic body?
We can begin to appreciate the crucial importance of alkalinity in the cells of the body, once we recognize that each cell operates very similar to the battery in your car. Your car’s battery stops working when there is no longer an opposite polarity created with one side producing a positive charge, and one side producing a negative charge. If that clear distinction is lost, the spark that operates your battery can’t jump from one side to the other, and the battery dies. Likewise, the cells of your body collect toxins and become unhealthy when the opposite polarity is lost. A bloodstream with the optimal acid/alkaline balance feeds cells ensuring their optimal acid/alkaline balance, and this results in cells with a potential for maximum energy flow and minimal toxicity. On the other hand, if the bloodstream doesn’t have the proper acid/alkaline balance, toxins collect in the cells, energy flow within the cell is blocked and weakened, and sick cells create a weakened, sick body.
Bio-Well is a non-invasive energy scan that uses a specialized camera and software system. The specialized camera uses light energy from the tips of the fingers that are captured and mapped to the body’s meridians. Bio-Well measures the body’s overall energy output, stress level, organs and systems energy balance. The information provides an overall holistic view of the state of your health and well-being. Bio-Well provides real-time feedback and allows you to work on balancing your energy states.
Ondamed brilliance lays in the personalization of treatment unique to each living being with the help of a Biofeedback method. This non-invasive therapeutic approach helps patients improve their stress tolerance. Stress is linked to most common disease. It is therefore critical to offer our patients relaxation training and improvement of attentiveness to their bodies, and their state of emotion.
The output analysis report and images provided by the Bio-Well offer an opportunity to “see” the connection and correlations to the psycho-emotional-spiritual links to the subtle or acute disorder. This visualization combined with Ondamed Biofeedback method, allows us to find the perfect treatment for your body and soul.
Yes! Keeping an online diary or personal journal regularly can have a very positive impact on the immune system. Simply writing about important experiences for as little as 15 minutes per day can not only reduce stress and anxiety, it also can decrease visits to the physician. Writing regularly in a journal can also increase antibody response, lower heart rate, and electrodermal activity, and lower pain and medication use. This is especially the case if you write in your diary about traumatic life experiences and feelings. In fact, by writing about emotional thoughts that are actively hidden from others, you can achieve significant health improvement. #personaljournal#angelsofhealth#biowellbrooklyn#immunesystem @normanbalassiano

If you want to have a good night’s sleep, We recommend reading Sleep Disorders: Clinically Proven Alternative Therapies To Help You Get a Good Night’s Rest by Herbert Ross, D.C., Keri Brenner, L.Ac., and Burton Goldberg. (Tiburon, CA: AlternativeMedicine.com Books, 2000). Before you can again enjoy the kind of sleep that children are blessed with, you need to know where your problems lie. It is helpful to examine your sleep habits, including such areas as your sleep history, your sleep environment, how many hours of sleep you get per night, difficulties getting to sleep, fatigue during the day, snoring or sleepwalking, dozing off while driving, exercise patterns, nutrition patterns, smoking and drinking habits, and history of sleep medications.
An unbalanced diet, as reflected in ailments such as insulin problems, food addictions, and hypoglycemia, often plays a role in sleep disorders.
So what can you do?
· Use detox diets and purifying colonics to cleanse the organs. Bacterial overgrowth in conditions like candidiasis and certain internal parasites can interfere with the intestine’s ability to rid itself of toxins which can disrupt sleep.
· Have a set bedtime and wake up time each day- even on weekends.
· Eat at least 3 hours before bedtime.
· Avoid TV, computers and phones, etc. an hour before bedtime.
· Ensure your room is less than 70 degrees and open your window.
· Avoid liquid a couple of hours before bedtime so you don’t have to get up at night.
· Exercise during the day; morning is best.
· If you have things on your mind, write them down before bedtime.
· Sleep in total darkness.
· Avoid caffeine and alcohol (caffeine can make it difficult to fall or stay asleep; alcohol will wake you early in the morning and keep you from the deep stages of sleep).
· Move electromagnetic objects (TVs, electric clocks, computers, portable and cell phones) at least 3 feet away from your bed. Check electromagnetic fields with a Gauss meter.
Our new book eat to survive sold on Amazon will give you so much information on this topic. Good luck and sweet dreams #goodnightsleep#insomnia#sleeplessnights#eattosurvive

How To Recognize Your Innate Ability To Improve Other People’s Lives.
When winter drags on, we can all teel the seasonal blues. But a life coach —a person that’s equally intuitive, emphatic, positive, and strategic about another person’s life— can help pull people out of negative mindset and spread lasting cheer.
Luckily, a lot of people have natural coaching capabilities, for example, anyone inherently positive and non-judgmental might have the ability to make people feel comfortable just by talking to them —even in the most high-stress situations. It’s a matter of recognizing your innate abilities— and deciding what to do with them.

With abundant thinking, we remind ourselves that we really don’t deserve anything more or better. By creating the mindset that overabundance is nice, but at the same token understanding you already have what you need, you will eliminate the stress of trying to obtain the overabundance.
When that stress is removed you have a better chance of actually obtaining the things you really don’t even need and will appreciate it so much more!

There is plenty happening around us that we can’t see, but this constant flow of energy affects everything we do and feel. G-d is in charge of influencing our world. But He does give us free will. On the individual level, we have the ability to influence others—by sharing our positive, sincere energy with those who need it most.

Kindness is a daily requirement. It is an unlimited obligation – which means it is a lifelong daily practice and is manifested in the act of giving. This manifestation expands across a wide area of our lives and relationships. It creates the desire to give charity, love, and respect, regardless of the other person’s situation.
Want to live a better life? Make an effort to be compassionate. Do so not just by giving charity, but by giving of yourself, your love, and your labor.

Talk about the benefits of breathing, meditation, and how mindfulness can help you see problems through a new lens. Not only are breathing exercises great for your mental health and overall happiness; they can improve your physical well-being as well.
But what’s the ultimate goal of working these healthy habits into your daily routine? Why choose this route over, say, indulging in a few glasses of wine after a tough day or taking out your frustration on a punching bag? The answer: balance.
By creating balance in your body, you can improve natural functions, optimize healing, and focus your energy on positive thoughts and actions that lead to long-term wellness.

Everything I practice comes from real-world experience. In my line of work, people are going through hardship. So, I need to be able to deal with their stress and mine on a daily basis. Breathing and meditating helps me calm down.
Once you make it a habit, this calm can extend past that one moment. You can begin making things happen. You’ve become strong enough to turn the brain chatter on and off.

Some stresses in life we can’t avoid. Sometimes, we will be stuck in traffic or be forced to deal with toxic people—but why add extra, unnecessary stress? If we can steer clear of the extra stresses, we will be healthier and happier.
It is my suggestion that people evaluate their own lives, pinpoint what causes their stress and initiate solutions in order to relieve anxiety which will lead to an overall happy and healthier life. Here’s to staying happy, healthy, and stress-free!.

A lot of us get hung up on weight loss. We spend years and years trying different diets, tactics, and vitamins and psyche ourselves out when we don’t see results. But oftentimes we overthink things and just get stuck trying to change too much of our lives.
When it comes down to it, weight loss is a matter of adjusting your eating habits. That’s it! You don’t have to change your entire life in the process. When you think of it as a simple math equation, you can start to see the process in a more positive way.

You can eat a salad for lunch and feel like you’re doing the right thing, but then you throw in processed chicken, turkey, or tuna and top it off with 700 calories of dressing, and that skews results. Sure, the salad was a good idea, and you may feel better because you think you’re eating well, but it won’t help you reach your desired health or weight any faster.
The paradigm needs shifting. The problem is that many people want to make healthy decisions, but they aren’t equipped with the knowledge to do so. As consumers, we can try to educate ourselves, but there also needs to be someone to help us make decisions. What do you base your purchases on?

Why do people get sick? A poor diet, lack of exercise, or underlying health problems are all likely causes. Stress can be devastating to your health, too. And what is one of the most prevalent sources of stress?
I spent the past twelve years helping people with severe debt - more debt than most people can imagine. My clients would come to me when they had exhausted all their options. My goal was to solve their financial difficulties. But I quickly found that in order to do so, I needed to snap them out of a deep, self-destructive funk. If I did not, they would just get sicker, and would not be able to help themselves.

In my 12 years helping people get clear of debt, I met a lot of people with problems. Money problems, of course, but also pent-up worries that affected their health and happiness—trouble in their marriage, turbulence with their kids, and so forth. As I talked to them, looking for a way to solve their financial worries, I learned a skill that has been incredibly powerful in my mission to help people ever since. I learned to listen.

Every morning, I thank Gd for giving me the ability to stand up straight. Standing is an essential part of Jewish prayer, as is our posture. During special prayers like the Amidah, or "standing prayer," we position ourselves as if we were standing before Gd, with straight backs and tucked chins. We don't keep our hands on our hips or cross our arms, but stand straight and humble. At the times where we are required to bow, we bow enough to separate the vertebrae from one another. While proper posture is an important part of our devotion, it is also extremely beneficial to our overall health and it allows us to better serve Gd , our family, and our community.

Want to Ensure Your Children Have a Better Chance of Living Healthy Lives?
Check What's in Your Fridge'
The number of obese children in the United States is growing at an alarming rate, with obesity now affecting one in every six children.
I believe that, as parents, we are responsible for how our young children eat. If you fill your home with sugary snacks and drinks, your children are going to eat them up. But if your fridge is only stocked with good, clean foods, they'll eat those instead. As parents, we are capable of programming our family's taste buds; after all, we do the shopping. Imagine paying for high-priced snacks that are addictive in nature — and imagine paying for them using credit cards! Some may end up paying interest on the junk they bring home.

How I Led Community Members On A Transformative Journey To Improve Their Health
Recently, I was blessed to lead a group of seven wonderful community members on a health retreat at the Hippocrates Health Institute in Palm Beach, Florida. We devoted two weeks to detoxing our minds and bodies and committed ourselves to a healthier, more mindful lifestyle. The group's ages ranged from old enough to be my grandfather, to young enough to be my sister, and each guest had something to contribute to our success. I may have served as a leader on the retreat, but the truth is I learned so much from each and every member who attended.

But the food around during the holidays is often full of fats and sugars; we celebrate with meat, wine, alcohol, simple carbs, and a whole lot of bread. So how do those of us on healthy eating plans take part in the festivities?
